DomainKeys activation - DNS record

Alban Staehli

Regular Pleskian
Hello,

I'm trying to enable the DomainKeys anti-spam protection on outbound message:
- I go, under plesk, to domain > mail accounts > preferences
- I tick the cross next to "enable anti-spam domain-key"

Then I sent myself an email, and I can see this in the header of the email:
DomainKey-Signature: a=rsa-sha1; q=dns; c=nofws;
s=default; d=MYDOMAIN.TLD; b=Z2/wwouarg4fB0C+DcM9wlhiwAzSLtT4mByYTKdJMmH5m9Wa8PEGp4J0+9Kyuv0HfE4L3PgWiIF4pl2G9rVPIZZLKi4sgjO5hUJRCIMpZL7LZCIAtcPjzT+GHpgyDhHC;
h=Received:Received:Received:Message-ID:Date:From:To:Subject:MIME-Version:Content-Type:Content-Disposition:Content-Transfer-Encoding:User-Agent;

Great! It looks like working...
But now, I've to add a TXT entry to my DNS records... What is the content of this record?
Should I copy the header from "a=" to "+GHpgyDhHC;"?

Thanks for the help!

"Public keys are generated and placed in the TXT resource records created in the domains' DNS zones."
THX for the information, but as I don't use the DNS-service included in Plesk, I couldn't see this record at first.
I had to activate DNS service on the domain to be able to copy the TXT record.
