  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

DomainKeys Working or Not?

This is a "will this work" thread...

I'm seriously considering buying a single dedicated server for a single domain and a single email address.

Besides working DomainKeys/DKIM... I don't need/want anything fancy. Just absolute assurance that my mission-critical emails have the highest possible chance of making it into the Yahoo/AOL/Hotmail inboxes.

So does this/can this work?

I've seen lot's of threads dancing around it, but not sure I've seen a definitive "Yes this works" statement.

Thanks!

Yes, it works; however, not very well.

You can't enter one of the necessary items (DNS entry) in the control panel so the moment you load the DNS in the Control Panel it overwrites your DomainKey entries and breaks your DKIM/DomainKey.

Thank you for the reply.

I did just find this HOW TO.

And this Endorsement for the HOW TO saying that he's made it work a "dozen of times".

But there's still a DNS overwrite problem? Geeez. If it's not one thing, it's another.

Thanks again for the reply.
