• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Duplicate emails after update to plesk 12.0.18

New Pleskian
Hi,

After updating our server from plesk 11.5.30 to 12.0.18, one of our subscribers is receiving duplicate emails, a varying number anywhere between 5-15 of the same message!

Can anyone please advice me on what the issue could be?

Running plesk 12.0.18 on a CentOS 6.4 Cloud Server

Do you have Qmail or Postfix as MTA? Do you have any results of troubleshooting? Have you tried to rebuild mailsettings with /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/mchk utility?

Hi Igor.

Thanks for the reply, although it seems that the issue was a strangely timed coincidence.

Within 10 or so minutes of the update completing, a mailbox on the account became full.

The subscription has 15 or so mailboxes, and an Admin mailbox which all the other accounts forward to, for archive purposes for the client.

The administrators machine which normally collects the mail from the Admin account has been off as she has been away, and we were not informed of this.

When the account became full it seems that the forwarded messages were somehow re-appearing in the original users mailbox, sometimes up to 30 times! How this has happened, considering there were no bounce-back messages I do not know.

Thanks for your time however.
