• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Dear Forum,

Thank you for letting me ask my questions here. I am new to sitebuilder and I am testing a new installation. I cannot get my trial site email message to work When I fill in the blank next to this text:
Send the site information to your e-mail address
on the Wizard/Publish/Trial page, It does nothing, It goes nowhere.

Can anyone tell me how to fix this or where there is more information in the manual?

By design Sitebuilder sends notifications through a PHP script. Using the script below you may verify that emails can be sent out.

<?PHP
print "Content-Type: text/plain;\n";
print "\n";
$recipient = 'mail@domain.com';
$subject = 'PHP mail test';
$body = "This is a test message.";
$headers = '';
if (mail($recipient, $subject, $body, $headers)) {
?> SUCCESS! <?PHP
}
else {
?> FAILED! <?PHP
}
?>
}
}

Where mail@domain.com is valid email address.
Also please look into maillog for transaction details of the mail sent.
