• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question email forwarding

Helge

New Pleskian
Morning.
On Plesk Onyx 17.0.17 on user turned on email forwarding for a few days (the mail was forwarded to an account on same domain)
After a few days, he turned off email forwarding (I have double checked it's off) but he still gets mail forwarded.
I'm a totally amateur (that’s why I use Plesk to make things simple). I can connect with SSH, but what to do and what to look for is totally above my head.
I hope a helpful person would find some minutes to give me some hints about where to go so I can delete the forwarding setting.

Thanks for any help

There are at least two places where email forwarding can be defined. One is the forwarding list box on the email forwarding page where the user can add one or many addresses to forward incoming mails to. The other one is the catch-all forwarding for mail that do not match a specific email address. If the user still gets email forwarded, checked these two locations. One of them will still have the forwarding configuration. There should not be any need to apply tweaks on the console level.
