• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

enable php shell_exec for one domain/subdomain

New Pleskian
Hallo,
i have the problem, that one abo/domain/subdomain needs to use shell_exec and it doesn´t work. My server config is:
CentOS7 / Plesk 12.0.18 / PHP5.4 (for this abo). Is there any solution to enable shell_exec support not for the whole server but only for one abo?

Regards

Hi wdswds,

please be informed, that Plesk doesn't disable "shell_exec" - functions by default. Please check your domain - specific PHP - settings, or the global php.ini for such settings and correct them to your needs.

Please see as well the Plesk documentation, to inform yourself about possible domain/subdomain - specific settings and the depending subscription- or service plan - settings:

Consider as well to turn "safe_mode" off, in your domain - specific settings ( example.com > Websites & Domains ... tab -> PHP Settings ) , the depending subscription settings, or at the service - plan level.
