• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue enabling Plesk Firewall

18.0.52 Update #3
Hi ,

I'm having problems enabling Plesk Firewall.

I installed Plesk Firewall, but it does not activate and gives the following error.
Failed to apply the firewall configuration.
  • I did not receive connectivity confirmation after applying new firewall configuration, then same happened after I reverted to previous configuration. This means that both new and previous configurations were bad. Emergency rollback to configuration without rules was performed. Firewall is now disabled. Fix your rules and try again.

I can't even edit the rules in the panel.
What is the problem?

You used the workaround right?

Edit the file /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/modules/firewall/rules and set

DEFAULT_CONFIRM_INTERVAL to 30:

Code:
grep DEFAULT_CONFIRM_INTERVAL /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/modules/firewall/rules
DEFAULT_CONFIRM_INTERVAL = 30

This is what worked for me on numerous servers.

Yes, I changed it to 30, but there is still a problem
