• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Entourage doesn't show "sent-date" in sent folder (IMAP)

New Pleskian
Hi,

one of my clients uses Entourage on Mac to send/receive e-mails (he's using other email adresses from different providers too).

My problem is now, that Entourage doesn't show the sent date in for the sent emails in the sent folder.
The field it self is blank, but if you open the E-Mail, Entourage shows the date when the message was sent.

The clients uses IMAP, sent elements are stored on the server as well.

Our server: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, Plesk 11, postfix

Does anyone has a clue what this could cause?

It works with other E-Mail programs like Outlook for Mac or Thunderbird. Other accounts are working just fine with imap from different providers in Entourage. I read that Entourage uses WebDAV http://kb.parallels.com/en/113773 could this be a problem for Plesk too????

Thank you!

Plesk documentation describes setting up MS Outlook, MS Outlook Express, Apple Mail and Mozilla Thunderbird to work with Plesk mail. I think that very old Entourage is just not supported.

Thank you for your reply.
But you aren't sure, are you?
Would hate to tell the client "use someone else webhosting/email because mine can't handle Entourage and you use it for everything else..." :-(
