  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR with Let's Encrypt

DataWire

New Pleskian
Hello,

I have a problem with one of our applications, we've rebooted the server after a rescale of the cloud environment which resulted in following error:
ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR on https://apps.trixxo.eu/TrixxApps

Is there anyone else who had this problem? And does anyone know how to fix it?

I've reissued a LE cert already, but is there a way to completely reinitiate the LE certs for a specific domain?

Thanks in advance!

To completely remove and recreate a certificate,
1) In the "hosting settings" deselect the domain certificate and select any other one instead, but do NOT disable SSL
2) In the mail configuration (general settings of the domain) deselect the certificate from the drop down where you select the webmail certificate
3) Now you can remove the SSL certificate with the "SSL certificates" icon
4) Once that has been removed, you can create a new certificate with the "Let's Encrypt" icon.
