• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Error: DNS records for domain with such name already exist

I am having a lot of issues after I migrated from WSRV2008 web X86 to WSRV2008R2web X64...

Main one: when I try to create a domain it failed for no reason the first time and when retrying I got the error:
Error: DNS records for domain with such name already exist

I removed the entry from the (MS) DNS server, emptied the cache and retried but I keep getting the same error, even when I switch of DNS for the domain being created.

I have even switched off the DNS service completely and still get this error.

I have also a lot of file permission errors but I will create another thread for that.

Hi Igor, thanks (again). Your solutions fixes the resulted problem but not the cause. Things like this should not happen in the first place, agree?
