• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

error: message unavailable, POP

MzaNike

Basic Pleskian
07-11-27 23:31:37 xx.xx.xx.xx POPS mydomain.de xx.xx.xx.xx 304 RETR RETR+1 -ERR+Message+unavailable HOSTNAME 0 8 32 user@mydomain.com

This is a message, which I do find in the W3C Logs of the POP-Service.
The User can access Webmail and access his mails, but is getting the error above, when trying to doanload them via Outlook,

I do not get it fixed (neithir with repair or installing MailEnable fixes (I am using Standard 1.981).
Other Domains are running fine.

The Diagnostic gives me the following warnings:
POP Retrieval Connector (None) Status: Service Not Installed ||WARN

Dont know what to do further..any Ideas?

Thanks
Michael

Hello

thanks for your reply, I already found the problem, but forget to post it here.
There has been activated "run task" on the mailbox, but nothing behind it, so reactivated av-scanning and it worked.

Thanks for your help!!!
