  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Error restoring backup domains

Sorry to bother but I am having an issue. I am trying to restore my domain backups and when I try to copy to the server repository to restore, its says its the dump is already there but when I check, the server repository is empty Below is the error I am getting.

"Error: Unable to move selected backup (backup_jadeforest.net_1205291544.tar) to server repository. Error: Dump already exists in repository."

A little info: CentOs 6 Plesk 10.4.4.

A bit of help would be really nice as my clients are starting to wonder where their sites are!

Cheers!

solution did not correct it still have backup issues

I am still getting-

"Error: Unable to move selected backup (backup_jadeforest.net_1205291544.tar) to server repository. Error: Dump already exists in repository"

-after i have removed the cert as that article says to do. My issue is, when I login, i can see that the files are all in the correct folders via ftp. But, in the plesk 10.4.4 gui interface, it does not show the file under the server repository, so there for I can not select it and restore it. Again, the files are there but the gui does not show any of the xxxx.tar backup files to restore.

Is there any way via command line to run the plesk backup restore function? or am I missing something here? Is there a patch perhaps?

FYI, these backups are from the plesk dump version 9.5.4 and I incrementally each version at a time, upgraded to plesk 10.4.4.

P.S.
My clients would really like it if I had the sites up and running!

Do you try see backup file in UI backup manager of server repository? To see it you must first create on destination subscription with the same name (name of domain which you backed up) and go to backup manager of subscription. Then backup file will be visible.

Also you can use pleskrestore utility.
/usr/local/psa/bin/pleskrestore --restore <path-to-your-backup-file> -level domains
but in this case you must also create subscription before.
