• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

TITLE

Error: The jail <name> was not found.

PRODUCT, VERSION, OPERATING SYSTEM, ARCHITECTURE

CentOS Linux 8.2.2004, Plesk Obsidian Version 18.0.29 Update #2

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION

Its happen now multiple times. I want change my jail and after saved in overview I get
Error: The jail <name> was not found.

My jail is gone and must be recreated.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

I think this always happens when I accidentally put a bug in the "action". So it shows an error when saving. I correct the error and save. Afterwards the jail is gone.

If I create it new with the same name, the blocked IPs of this jail are still there.

For example
iptables-allports[chain="INPUT", name="default"......
the name tag here is already used in another jail. This causes an error and you have to change the name.

ACTUAL RESULT

Jail disappear

EXPECTED RESULT

Save without losing the jail

ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This does not always happen, but very often.
