• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Mail server appears to be down, seems I've messed things up. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated

Nope. Never did. I'm still having issues with QMail working correctly. I'm thinking of killing the server and reinstalling everything, and never ever trying to upgrade to another version again.

good gawd...plesk aint changed much over the years ya know it! I have a swsoft support ticket in $$$$. Hopefully they can fix it, if not then there will have to be changes made....

Well, I realize there are literally thousands of different configurations with Linux so I can understand a little. I was hoping someone would have responded, especially from SWSoft. But, its not a show stopper for me yet

update: According to swsoft tech when my data center upgraded from 7.5.1 to 7.5.4 they did not update the DB which threw the error. Parts of the program is now 8.0.1, 7.5.1, 7.5.4.....what a mess. BUT it seems the Plesk tech knows what is going on. Apparently there is no going back at this point, we must upgrade to 8.0.1.
