  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Event Manager Trigger for Microupdates

Regular Pleskian
Hi,

Since MU are now required and since they are unwieldy (they're overwriting binaries from third-party repos), I want to be able to use the Event Manager functionality to trigger a fix-up script to put back those binaries. But the only Event Manager trigger is "Parallels Plesk Panel Component Updated or Added", which doesn't trigger when I pull in Microupdates.

Can we have another Event Manager trigger for when MU have been applied, or can the current trigger be adapted to trigger on MU, or can we have MU functionality that doesn't continually reapply old MUs?

Thanks,

Paul.

(Ps I know there are workarounds I can and will use, but I would much prefer for Plesk to keep its own house in order, its bad enough that its doing what its doing the least it can do is tell me its doing it!).
