  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Extracting e-mails from plesk old backups

Carloz

Basic Pleskian
Hello, I need to extract and open some e-mails from an old plesk backup.

My client need 2016 e-mails of his account (he deleted them months ago... and now he need them again).

I see that I have a backup of genuary, february etc 2017. I tried to extract them, and I see some files: msg1.msg msg2.msg etc

I extracted them in a folder, I tried to open them using outlook, but the computer says I'm not authorized to open them. I set the user "anyone" as the owner of the files in the file proprieties --> security settings, and to check all the flags for the complete control of all the users, but the computer don't open them anyway.

How can I do it?

Thanks
