  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Failed update to 18.0.26

New Pleskian
when i try to upgrade from version 18.0.25 to version 18.0.26 the update fails, with the error: "ERROR while trying to check the hostname". Can anyone help me out?

Have you tried solutions from suggested KB articles Search results – Plesk Help Center ?

Yes, and the host file looks correct. I have also already upgraded from version 18.0.24 to 18.0.25 with no problems.
If I look at the log I find written:

Code:
Trying to resolve hostname 'mysite.com' and validate its IP address...
Can not bind a socket to address mysite.com:715 - Cannot assign requested address

EDIT:

I solved.
In Tools & settings -> server setting I changed the full hostname field from "mysite.com" to "hostname.mysite.com" and so it worked.
