  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

FastCGI not parsing PHP

Tom_Moreton

New Pleskian
Hi guys!

I've a new installation of Plesk 12 on a VPS (Ubuntu LTS12.04) and when FastCGI is selected it downloads the PHP files instead of parsing the PHP?

Is there any typical advice you could give as where to look config wise? I've checked php short tag options and they all seem fine.

I've searched the forums for previous examples of the issue but can't find any solutions.

Thanks in advance,
Tom

P.S. I've set up a test subscription to display the error here:

Is FastCGI supposed to be working when Plesk is first installed (out of the box), if it's an registered option? I have asked Heart internet for help (even paid them) but they have been useless!

Thanks for this but that was already in the config :-(

I think I may start again... is there a good guide anywhere to install the latest stable version of PHP and get it working in Plesk (Probably not using Fast CGI - as this is proving my achilles heel)?
