• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Feature request: server-side mail filtering

Customers would love to be able to do some server-side mail filtering. They know they can do this on their desktops using their own mail clients, but when they incidentally log into webmail they have an inbox filled with all their mailinglist subscriptions, etc.

It would be nice if Plesk could provide a GUI for server-side mail filters, maybe using procmail or something like that as the backend.

Hm, I hadn't noticed. I also happen to like SquirrelMail better.

But then users need to setup filters both in Horde and in their own desktop mail clients. Or do the filters setup in Horde also function when not using Horde? If not (I'll go and look into this), my feature request still stands. I'd like the filtering to happen right after receiving the message without having to run any clients (desktop or webmail).

Hello,
Nice that this feature has been created!

Could you explain where/how we can configure server-side filter rules?

Thanks!
