• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

I cant belive that plesk cant ran in fedora 7 or fedora 8.
Please when fedora 8?

According to http://www.swsoft.com/en/products/plesk/reqs/ Fedora 7 is supported. And I can totally believe Fedora 8 is not supported yet, as it hasn't been out that long. They need to do some work to support a new distro and then also do a bunch of testing.

My usual advice: go with a distribution that has a long supported lifecycle (RHEL, CentOS, Debian, etc.). Fedora is a nice distro, but choosing it means you'll need to change your OS again in just over a year. If you think that's no problem, then run with it, but we run everything on CentOS and I can recommend CentOS 5 to anyone that wants to run a stable server.

I agree with Breun because Fedora isnt for fully Server enviorment...

CentOS5 or Red Hat Enterprise 5 are a good choice.
