  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

File Manager Permission problem

I am running Plesk 10 / Linux.

I have a problem with file permissions. For some files in File Managers permissions are set to the proper user (changeable), some to apache or root (not changeable). For example, when a user creates a subdomain, the subdomain/subdomain-name folder has a root permissions and as a result, user can not upload any files to this folder nor change the chmods.

Should you please let me know how to fix this issue.

PS. I am already running PHPsu.

Regards,
Grzegorz Rog

Is there really no solution? It seem like a key functionality. Please help.
