  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Fixing clogged qmail queues

EMerkel

New Pleskian
I seem to have a persistent problem where every so often qmail stops delivering mail and messages start piling up in the preprocess queue.

When you've got 1000's of messages it is hard to figure out which one is the problem email. Does anyone have suggestions on tracking this down?

Secondly, I used qmail-remove to place all emails in the /var/qmail/queue/yanked directory. I want to start adding emails back in a handful at a time. What is the proper procedure to get these emails back in queue to be delivered?

Lastly, I am using qmail because of the use of short names but I am curious does postfix have this same kind of problem happen to it? If not I might have to bite the bullet and switch to postfix....

Thanks,
Eric
