• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Forwarding emails within a domain better way?

Bob K.

New Pleskian
Hi, related to a previous post but different, Is there a way to forward an email to another account in the same domain other than entering the whole address?
To clarify, my clients on the previous H-Sphere we could "forward" email to an address (same domain or different) or "copy" email to an address in which you could select other users in the same domain.
The advantage of "copy" was it knew if it was received multiple times.
e.g.
Employee1@ Copies to Supervisor@
Employee2@ Copies to Supervisor@
If someone sent an email to Employee1@ and CC'd Employee2@ and Supervisor@ instead of getting 3 copies, the Supervisor only received 1 copy because the system was smart enough to know it was the same email.

My users now are often getting 5 - 10 copies of some emails because they receive it when its forwarded from all the employees who get it.

Thanks!
