  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

I get this error when trying to edit and save files through dreamweaver:

admin\includes\header.php - error occurred - An FTP error occurred - cannot put header.php. Access Denied. The file may not exist, or there could be a permission problem.

It only happens through FTP and not through SSH. And it also only happens with this one account in plesk my other sites can be worked on fine. and it only happens in the httpdoc folder, im guessing its a .htaccess because i have osCommerce loaded on here can someone please help

Ok after doing a process of elimiation i have found that it actually is a permission problem. by default all the files are set to 444 permission. I think they should be 644, am i right on this? i dont want to give people access to my oscommerce files and dont want to have them be so accessable, i know 777 and 755 is too much, is 644 good or should i go lower?

Hi,

check the owner and group for the files and directories.
your ftp-user should be the owner, the wwwrun should be the group.

Just make sure, "everybody" has no access or read only.
