  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Gallery photos lost on snapshot restore

Help, please!
We have wpb 11.5.12
On a hosted domain we have restored a domain from a saved snapshot. Most looks OK, but the galleries are definitely not.
In /httpdocs/data/imagegallery/ there are some folders in which there are some photos. I'm not convinced that there are as many as there should be, however.
Can anyone tell us how to get those back?
Many thanks, in advance, as ever.

Check URLs for images on site. It should be like src='images/imago.jpg'
If it is like src="images/abc77192377bca/71723r7bcff/omago.jpg' - it is bug.

Thank you for your response Igor

The site has a lot of galleries. In /var/www/vhosts/domain.co.uk/httpdocs/data/imagegallery there is a sub-folder for each gallery that is put on the site.
What we have discovered is that these had all gone, less the few photos that must have been there at date of the earlier restored snapshot.
When we looked at a backup and restored all the sub-folders, the photos all came back.

Is that a bug? It probably needs some more testing to see if it was a freak with this or something that will happen elsewhere.

Interestingly, I think that if we save a snapshot to a computer and then put it on a different test domain, none of the galleries would come across and we would have to copy across those folders as well.

I looked in the source of the URL that has the galleries and saw neither of what you put as the scr="...". And inspect element did not either. If I copy the image URL, I naturally get the whole path: http://www.domain.co.uk/data/imageg...e5b7/dd66f095-cb6b-f661-51d9-7ca7f3119a47.jpg

It is really difficult to say what is wrong there. Investigation is required. You can send PM with link where we can download this snapshot with problem.
