Global FTP account

I need to setup a global FTP account so I can reach the root of C:\inetpub\vhosts. Is there anyway to do this?

Do not try to create a global/master ftp using Plesk, this is a massive security no no as it uses the standard FTP port.

Install Filezilla Server
Configure Filezilla Server to run on another port that is not commonly used by another service (i.e. not 21,25,80, etc)
Create a user account in Filezilla that has C:\inetpub\vhosts as it's home directory.
You now have a global ftp account.

And how to manage on a linux system ? Instead of saying something useful just posting the link to another thread....

Team here is far too reticent....that's why it is so hard to find good answers iregarding plesk in the google search....

Have you tried asking in the Plesk for Linux section of the forum?

I imagine it's the same process that I've described for Windows but with a program you can install/use for Linux. Take a look here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_FTP_server_software

Sorry I can't advise any further, we only use Windows servers here.
