• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Groups and Autoresponders

I'm not sure this is the right place for it but I will post it and see what comes of it.

I have a client that has several common e-mail groups (info@example.com, support@example.com, customerservice@example.com, etc.) and they have autoresponders set up for these groups so that the person e-mailing this group knows that the request was received. That is not my issue (but may be of some importance).

When user@example.com (in the group info@example.com) has an autoresponder turned on and someone e-mails that group (info@example.com), user@example.com's autoresponder replies to that e-mail.

Is there any way that it can be set up so only direct e-mails can be responded to via the autoresponder?

Thanks

Hello,

Note that in Plesk you can set conditions for automatic reply at Home > Domains> domain.name > Mail Accounts > mail@account.name > Autoresponders >. Autorespond can be sent only when specified words are found in message subject or body. It is the only way in Plesk to choose what messages should receive autoresponds.

Regards,
Denis.
