  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Handling DNS PTR for smaller subnets than /24

RémiP

New Pleskian
Hello,
My provider is delegating me /25 prefixes for my web usage. Before using plesk I used to administer by DNS with Bind, and I created a 0/25.789.456.123.in-addr.arpa for 123.456.789.0/25. That works perfect.

How can I do the same with Plesk as for the moment I can only have a /24 at the minimum ?

Thanks,

Rémi

I'd be interested in seeing the product support some of the supported methods below:

- Degroot
- RFC4183 notation
- RFC2317 notation
