• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Help needing to set up nameservers

yavuz

New Pleskian
Hello Guys,

After a long time I've returned to Plesk since it has evolved into something beautiful. So I migrated mt sites from cPanel to Plesk.

I thought I did everything right but my domains seem not to resolve to the new server.

I followed pretty much the installation steps and set up the server:

I've been meaning to use my own nameservers for all the domains but it doesn't work.

Can anyone point me to the right direction, I'm clearly missing something.

Have you set up the new IP address at your registrar? And created the new ns glue record?
For example at 123-Reg?

Why are not my nameservers ns1.1numarahost.com and ns2.1numarahost.com appearing in the settings of the domains and main DNS page?

Because you haven't added them to the DNS Template (your first picture.)
As for the imaj-online.de domain, it looks like you haven't set up the name servers at the registrar as none are responding...

Lookup failed after 2 name servers timed out or responded non-authoritatively

I hope that helps
Kind regards

Lloyd

I've attemted to add them, looked at few tutorials but failed obviously.
