  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Horde has completely vanished from my root server! When accessing http://webmail.domain-name.com the default Plesk page is returned. I haven't done anything that is likely to affect this and I'm totally baffled as to why it's disappeared! Any advice will be most appreciated!

try running this from the command line and see if it helps:

# /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/websrvmng -v -a

phoenix, you superstar! That's done the trick and all is up-and-running again now. Thanks a lot

Upgrade to v8.6 broke Horde

Horde has also vanished for me (with the exact same issue as above - where it was being replaced with a Plesk login page), but it happened when I upgraded to v8.6. I ran the above command last night, and Horde came back. But when I check again this morning, Horde is gone again.

Running the above command no longer seems to fix it :S
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Same exact problem here. Any solutions that fix it permanently?

Temporary fix for clients...

A temporary fix for your clients, for now, would be to get them to add /horde/ to the end of their normal webmail domains... so http://webmail.domain.com now needs to be http://webmail.domain.com/horde/ to work. I guess it's a workaround until someone who knows what's going on, figures out a fix.

What Os do you run on your server, btw? Keen to see if we have anything in common...
