  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

How do I allow a domain to "use" SSL Certificate

I've just purchased and installed an SSL certificate for a domain without any problems.

But the domain won't use the certificate.

When I go to Domains >> domain.com >> SSL Certificate, the cert appears and it all looks good except that under the "Used" column it says 0.

The certificate doesn't show up at all in Home >> Settings >> SSL Certificates.

What do I have to do to enable the cert to be actually used?

I've worked it out.

Go to domain.com >> Web Hosting Settings, click the SSL support checkbox and select the cert from the drop down list on that screen.

It didn't work right away, but after rebooting the server it played nice.

You dont require a full server reboot for this. By going to your IP manager icon you can change the cert associated with an IP. Just click on the IP hosting is setup on. You need to assign the certificate there also.

GoDaddy is my hosting provider and they had installed my SSL certificate for me but I was unable to access my site with https. Your post helped me enable SSL on my site.
