  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

There is the need here to get some specific PHP plug-in included in our environment.
The plug-in needed is called: Mcrypt support

How can I install this?
When i use yum i get this:
yum search mcrypt
Loading "security" plugin
Loading "rhnplugin" plugin
rhel-i386-server-5 100% |=========================| 1.3 kB 00:00
No Matches found

Do i need to recompile php? When i do this and it goed wrong what can i do because this server is a production server.

Hope you can help me out.

Kind Regards

I think i just ran

yum install php-mcrypt

for me it was an easy install. i might have been lucky but it worked first time. I have no idea however how to recover from a bad install.

regards

Justin.

Hi atomicturtle,

At this moment I use PHP 5.1.6. Do you know a good repos with mcrypt for this version?

Thanks for the help!
