  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

How do I upgrade supplied PHP version?

I recently bought a dedicated servers comes along with PLESK 10,
When I tried to install wordpress, it said cannot connect to database, and after further investigation the new wordpress (3.2xx) needs php 5.2.4 and above. The supplied php were 5.2.17
My old PLESK 9 on my old server have php 5.2.6 and I can install Wordpress 3.2 flawlessly.

I already tried installing wordpress using xampp with php 5.3.5 and the database can connect right away.

So, my conclusion is that its due to the older php version at PLESK 10.

Hence the question: how do I upgrade the supplied PHP version to a newer one at PLESK 10?
Already tried previous version method but no joy.

TIA

Why you do not install Wordpress by standard way via Applications tab in CP?

That was one of any standard ways I did mate, anyway, its not the PHP but its the MySQL and phpmyadmin, after I upgrade to 10.30 it can connect just fine and I notice theres a change in its phpmyadmin
