  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

How make/use own my.cnf or .ini for customers?

PietroV.

New Pleskian
Hi!

Is there a possibility in Plesk 12.0.18 to give a own my.cnf or my.ini to every customer, so they can modified it?
Or is there allready this possibility, but where?

Thanks for help!

best regards

No, there are no additional MySQL templates for each customer/domain, so that they may run their very own MySQL instance. But every domain/subdomain may use their very own php.ini , located at /var/www/vhosts/system/DOMAIN-OR-SUBDOMAIN.COM/etc . These individual domain/sudomain settings are located in the advanced tab of every domain and called PHP - Settings .

Plesk supports additional database servers, so the Plesk Online documentation might guide you how to set up this environment :
