  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

how to disable file manager?

How do you disable the file manager on client accounts. There are a million reasons a person could have for NOT wanting a given client account to have root file access to domains... how could this have been overlooked? I can find no setting in the control panel itself, so I'm guessing I have to resort to shell commands? I'd be happy killing it for the entire control panel. I don't use it, no legitimate clients have a use for it, but it provides a hole to give clients file access.. who should otherwise not have file access.

Anyone have thoughts/ideas/process?

Try to remove Filemanager button for Domain administrator's Home page preset. Home -> Interface -> Home page presets.
