• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

How to disable PHP on Windows Plesk 12

Sun JunP

New Pleskian
Hi team,

We have separate hosting environment of Linux Plesk and Windows Plesk where we do not allow PHP on Windows Plesk.

However, it seems to be next to impossible to find out how we can limit customers being able to use PHP.

Would you have any recommendation?

What about creation Service Plan where "PHP support" is disabled? After that you can create subscriptions based on this Plan with disabled PHP support. Have you tried to use this scenario?

Yeah we got that setup for existing customers but for any new reseller customers they can update php settings by themselves. We need permanent option without removing php itself

We can't go edit each subscription after they are created. We have pba-S with 14 Windows plesk servers with around 700 domains on each having same issues.

If you are suggesting we run subscription.exe to disable php on 10000domains that is not practical at all.

We can't spend hours of time everyday tracking down which server new customer added new subscriptions.

When Reseller account adds new domain or new service plan by themselves, there is no way we can limit them to not use PHP as it's just part of feature.

Is there anyway we can disable PHP to all customers without having to remove PHP itself.

Our PBA-S is running latest 4.5.

But why you can't disable PHP in Service Plan of PBAS and synchronize it to subscriptions?
