  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

How to get it running on LAN

Hi, i downloaded plesk 8 for linux.
I want to run it on lan.
But when i go to http://10.0.0.11 [local ip addres of server]

I get:

Code:
This is the Pleskâ„¢ default page

If you see this page it means:

1) hosting for this domain is not configured
or
2) there's no such domain registered in Plesk.

For more information please contact Administrator.

How can i bind http://10.0.0.11 to a webuser, so i can add my own page and everything?

Thx for you help :D

no i mean. if i go to 10.0.0.11 i get my site,
and not the, this is for our customrs thing

Are you trying to host a site for a customer on a box without a public IP? Does the customer own a domain name? What do your DNS settings look like?

Ah, ok. You have to tell Plesk what site should be displayed in this case. This is "set domain to be default default on IP" operation and be performed somewhere in server settings (IP manage?), can't remember exact place.

Found it: Server->IP addresses->click on the number in 'hosting' column (yes, stupid interface), and then select domain to be default and press 'Set as default'.
