  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

How to migrate from Plesk 9.5.2 to Plesk 11.0.9

New Pleskian
Hello,

Scenario: 1 Plesk Panel 9.5.2 working and valid licence serving 450 domais. Now i want to migrate this to a new hardware with version Plesk Panel 11.0.9. What i want to do is migrate all domains and during migration i need both servers working because i cannot do all migration at once.

To migrate the data from Plesk 9.5.2 (with licence) to Plesk Panel 11.0.9 (new server but with no licence), i have two issues :

- What licence I put in the Plesk Panel 11.0.9 during migration?(because with no licence i cannot do migration or anything else)

- In the end of the migration process, the atual licence (that is in the Plesk 9.5.2 ) can migrate to the new server with Plesk Panel 11.0.9? Or do i have to buy new licence to the new server?

If anyone has been in similar situation please give me a light!

Best Regards,

Jorge Moreira
