Hello,
We are using Plesk 12.5 (12.5.30 atm) and have some questions / troubles. Here is our configuration :
- We are using the Power User view
- We have 2 users who are defined as "admin alias", they are administrating the Plesk
- All others are simple users, assigned to a new specific role. They are developpers who need to manage their webspaces, but not the entire Plesk.
- We made many tests to find out how we can use service plans in the Power User view. The documentation is really bad, even inexistant on that part (or maybe i didn't look at the right place ?), anyway we finally find out we had to use the "Unlimited" plan, so we edited it to fit our needs.
- -> When a user create a new webspace, it use our "Unlimited" plan to create it, until there everything works as we expect.
But :
1. We can't find any way to customize the "Unlimited" plan, so we can give our users the permission to manage the "Additional Apache directives" (under "Apache & nginx Settings"). Only the "admin alias" can edit thoses directives, and we don't want to make all our users admin...
2. Same problem for "Additional directives" into "PHP settings", we can't find a way to add the permission on this field for our users.
3. If we add an "Additional configuration directives" into the "PHP Settings" of our "Unlimited" plan (ex : always_populate_raw_post_data=-1), then all our users can't create proper webspaces anymore, because "Error: The plan was not applied: Custom changes in PHP settings".
Can you tell me if there is a way to achieve our needs ? Are we doing something the wrong way ?
Can we ask developers for the possibility to set new "manage" permissions on the fields "Additional configuration directives" and "Additional Apache directives" at service plan level, like there is for exemple a "manage_php_settings" permission with the command line here : http://download1.parallels.com/Ples...e/plesk-unix-cli/index.htm?fileName=38365.htm ?
Thanks and sorry for my english
