• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

I am administering the site through Parallels Plesk Panel 9.2 on shared webhosting.

"Disk space" on Home webpage shows me:
"125 KB free of 100.0 MB"

I removed through FileManager the files with total size of 20 MB.
Still the same "125 KB free of 100.0 MB"

How does one reclaim free space?

Hello,

The disk space usage is updates once the statistics utility is run. Usually it happens once a day, according to the schedule. You can force the statistics to be calculated immediately for the required domain with the help of the following utility:

# /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/statistics ---calculate-one --domain-name=domain.tld

Please, see the following article for more information:

Thank you

For Windows installation, please, use the following command:

cd %plesk_bin%
C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\admin\bin>statistics.exe --disk-usage --process-domains=domain.tld
