• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question How to redirect a domain to another domain's page?

WhiteTiger

Basic Pleskian
Server operating system version
Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS
Plesk version and microupdate number
Plesk Obsidian 18.0.69 #3
I have a domain with a Joomla website. It has an SSL certificate provided by the ISP.
I have other domains and I would like each of them to point to a page of the first site. These domains must also use SSL.

In other words:
domain1 = https: //domain1.tld
domain2 = https: //domain2.tld -> //domain1.tld/page2
domain3 = https: //domain3.tld -> //domain1.tld/page3

I didn't understand how to do it.
I was thinking of creating the new domains of the type "Blank website" in the same subscription as domain1 by disabling the options "Activate the DNS service" (DNS is managed by the ISP) and "Activate the mail service" (no need for mail).
But then how do I do the redirect?

On the ISP's DNS management I would have pointed the A Record to the Plesk IP address, as I have already done for domain1.
For the SSL certificate of the other domains I still don't know if I can use those provided by the ISP or if I can generate them with Let's Encrypt.

Thanks in advance for the suggestions.

Most registrars lets you configured forwarding on a domain, you just need to find it, otherwise what you can do is create a new domain as a blank site then edit the hosting setting to change the type from Website to Forwarding. You can still give the domain a SSL certificate too.
