  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved How to restore a SQL-dump created during plesk repair utility?

Sascha Schlüter

New Pleskian
Hello there,
i made some bad decisions during use of the plesk repair utility ("plesk repair db -verbose") and lost some domains and related mailboxes from the configuration.

Fortunately, the utility created a dump (/var/lib/psa/dumps/mysql.preresolve.20190917-193942.dump.gz) before "repairing" the database.

But: how do i restore the dump correctly?

Can i follow the examples from here: How to back up/restore Plesk system databases

According to that examples my command should be

zcat /var/lib/psa/dumps/mysql.preresolve.20190917-193942.dump.gz | plesk db

but i am not sure at all...

Help is needed urgently - thank you!
