  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

How to use Domainkeys with external DNS

pixeljunkie

New Pleskian
We don´t use the local DNS for centralized management reasons.
Is there a way to use the new domainKeys feature which needs to write DNS TXT changes with an externel DNS.
Maybe something like sending an email to our domainrobot after the event setting domainkeys = on?

Kind Regards
Sven Jansen

Hello,

I also use DomainKeys on a external DNS, for me work perfectly.

First you need to activate DomainKeys on the domain.

After check in the DNS Zones of the domain in Plesk and you will see two new values that called _default.domainkeys and the other _domainkeys copy and put this on your external DNS.

That`s not what i asked for. I need an automated way of doing this, because we have hundreds of customers and domains. It`s not possible to copy&paste the values for all of them by hand.
