httpd-devel on Centos 5 error

iam trying to install yum httpd-devel but iam getting

httpd-devel-2.2.3-45.el5.centos.1.i386 from update has depsolving problems
--> Missing Dependency: httpd = 2.2.3-45.el5.centos.1 is needed by package httpd-devel-2.2.3-45.el5.centos.1.i386 (update)
httpd-devel-2.2.17-1.el5.art.x86_64 from atomic-testing has depsolving problems

You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: package-cleanup --problems

i Really need apxs2 binary but it wont let me install httpd-devel at all

that doesn't solve my problem i did search before i came here its a plesk panel problem explain this

# yum install httpd

now you tell me if that thread can help me or not looks like to me the httpd is not matching up when its telling me httpd-2.2.3 is install that command says other wise

Do you have Parallels as Vendor in output of

# rpm -qi httpd | grep Vendor

If not - use httpd-devel from your httpd package vendor.
 
Version : 2.2.12 Vendor: Parallels
is my vender how do i install it with this vender
 
# rpm -ihv httpd-devel-2.2.3-45.el5.centos.1.x86_64.rpm

no it dost work at all
 
please help me please if not i will be forced to remove plesk panel cause this don't make any sense that you cant install anything.

I'm having this same exact problem but the file posted is older than my version.
httpd-devel-2.2.3-53.el5.centos.3.x86_64

After much searching it seems only Plesk users are having this issue, I am having this problem with more than just this one file, I am so very close to rolling this server and staying as far away from Plesk as I possible can including pushing my customers off on to another platform.

I have even tried the following packages from RPMfind with no luck

I thought maybe one of those would work but they all gave the same error

When I check my HTTPD version I get
httpd-2.2.3-53.el5.centos.3.x86_64

So I have the correct version but it appears that httpd is looking for the NON-x86_64 version of the package for reasons beyond me


Any help is greatly appreciated
 
What sort of output following commands on your server:

# rpm -q --queryformat='%{N}-%{V}-%{R}.%{arch}\n' httpd
# rpm -q --queryformat='%{N}-%{V}-%{R}.%{arch}\n' httpd-devel

sni issue

I can't get the httpd-2.2.3-65.el5.centos.x86_64.rpm package from Igor's link to install due to the dependancy

apache-sni-configurator-2.2.22-12051419.x86_64 and can't find a compatable version

does anybody have the same issue / found a way to solve it


Installed Packages
httpd.x86_64 1:2.2.22-12070410 installed
