  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

I have installed Stebuilder, and created a dns entry for sitebuilder.mywebsiteconnection.net but when I try to visit the URL my browser times out. If I ping it, it doesn't respond, it times out.

Can anybody tell me what I'm doing wrong, or what I need to do. When I click on Sitebuilder settings in my plesk 9.3 panel the url is "http://sitebuilder.mywebsiteconnection.net/LoginFacade/"

Advice would be wonderful!

thanks in advance.

It might take awhile for the DNS settings to propagate. So I would wait for a while and then check again. You could also try flushing you DNS on your computer. If you are using windows you can open a command prompt and type in ipconfig /flushdns . This will force your computer to go to the greater internet and try to find your website when you go to it. Getting the new DNS settings. I am guessing you have everything setup right, you just need to wait for the settings to propagate.
