If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question in Plesk old Application catalog

New Pleskian
Server operating system version
Linux Centos 7 x64
Plesk version and microupdate number
18.0.53
Hello,

Over the past few years, many applications have become outdated and disappeared, while some have become very popular. But the catalog has not been updated for a very long time, there are applications such as: concrete5, gallery and some else. They have requirements php 5.2 ~ It's time to remove them.

And also, accordingly, add new popular applications that are relevant at the moment.

Plesk is aware that the catalog is outdated. Maintaining APS packages requires a great effort. It is resource-intensive. The APS technology itself is outdated. Plesk is currently in the process of replacing the old catalog system with a new extension. For the time being, please have a look at the Softaculous extension where you can already install many applications from.
