  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Installing Tuleap on VPS running PLESK 11

Hello,

I have a Virtual Private Server (VPS) with GoDaddy running CentOS 5.8 with PLESK 11.
The server has 3 dedicated IP pointed to 3 virtual host directories. I already used 2 out of the 3 and I am trying to install TULEAP (http://www.tuleap.com/) on the 3rd one. When the installation is complete, I was able to view the newly installed TULEAP but it seems that of my 2 other hosts now points to the 3rd one which I suspect has something to do with the install.

Not sure if this is causing it, but is there a way in PLESK to regenerate the HTTPD.CONF files? Maybe that would fix the virtual host redirection issues.

Thank you.

Regards,
Aldo

Hi,

One thing to know is that Tuleap works best on a dedicated server. As it is deeply integrated to the system, it may invalidate previous installation of other softwares (eg: rewrite of httpd.conf). I think that you will have to manually restore vhosts sections of your apache configuration.

Yours,
Nicolas
