• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Internal Domain Relay to external MX

Kwendelr

New Pleskian
Hello,

we are managing multiple Domains on our virtual server with enabled mail service.
We have for every domain one mailbox that we use as a smarthost on the external exchange environment.
The domains all have an MX record which points to external exchange servers.

Now we want to setup the virtual server, that mails are delivered external to its given MX record.

Example:
We are hosting domain1.com and domain2.com (in seperate subscriptoins)
We are sending mails from our exchange server (domain1.com) over the virtual servers smarthost for this domain.
The recipient is domain2.com.
So we want that the virtual server now relay this mail to the external MX record adresse instead of trying to save it local.

But the mail service of both domain has to be enabled, because we have to use them as a smarthost for our exchange servers.
