• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Is it possible to sync email "sent folders" on any device?

larryk

Regular Pleskian
Hello,

situation:
a) on desktop mail (whatever mail client), you send an email
b) then you check your phone's email and look in the sent folder
c) CAN you see the email sent from your desktop?

So my question:
1) can this be done with Plesk?
- I realize different mail clients do different things, have different settings.

2) I currently use IMAP, macmail, and android mail and only inbox emails sync, not outgoing?

thinking -- i don't have something setup correctly or it can't be done.

thanks

Hi larryk,

c) CAN you see the email sent from your desktop?
Sure. This depends on your very own settings at your used mail client. ;)

Let's assume, that you use an iPhone ( sorry, I don't use Android ) for example, then you would go to application, which you use for your mails, move further to your advanced eMail - accounts settings and make sure that the "Sent" folder is checked with the desired folder. :)

thanks!

Does this work for postfix on latest iphone?

ANYONE know if you can sync sent mails on android?
