• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Is ther a GUI for backup or not?

It seems Plesk doesn't have a separate program GUI for backup and restore whole servers :-( Is that true? I see I can now use backup manager in Plesk itself, but it is not the same.

how can I now backup all server without one domain and without few files? In separate GUI I could just exclude files and click which domains I want. And now? Either backup whole server or domain by domain (I don't use clients).

But on one of my domains there are plesk backups (because I ftp them to other server later), so obviously I can not backup this domain. How can I backup all except this domain???

If it is not possible it is a huge step backwards IMHO.

I find no utility there, I read the manual, there is only a CLI backup guide, there is no good gui for backup in 9.0 :-(

This is very very bad i think.

Plesk 9.0 is very good control panel. I have installed a demo, overusage suspend system, speed, stability perfect.

But backup/restore system is very poor. For example if plesk control panel doesnt restore how can restore my backup? From command line? No this is very primitive.

Plesk 9.0 is not perfect wihtout a windows GUI based backup/restore system
